EATING HEALTHY FOODS

 


A healthy diet is essential for food health and nutrition. It protects us against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Eating variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for diet.


 We need to do is we base our meals on higher fiber starchy carbohydrates. Let us eat a lots of fruits and vegetables, more fish, including a portion of oily fish, less eat salty. Cut down on saturated fat and sugar. Avoid us to get thirsty and do not skip breakfast.


If we eat healthy foods, we often more alert, focused, and have a better memory and information processing skills. When we learn to enjoy nutritious foods, we are likely to maintain these habits as we grow and promoting overall well-being through our lives.
